Study on the Cultural Adaptation of Mongolian in Yunnan:Thinking from a Theoretical Perspective

Abstract: A part of Mongolian people settled in Yunnan due to military migration in history. In the process of their integration with
the local ethnic minorities in Yunnan, the traditional nomadic culture was adapted to the natural environment and the human
environment. In different historical periods, Yunnanese Mongolian formed different cultural adaptation patterns; and in different social
fields, they used different cultural adaptation attitudes and strategies. Comparing Mongolian people in Yunnan and those in other
regions, the results of the cultural adaptation and the special patterns of cultural changes of Yunnanese Mongolian can be shown. An
exploration of the adaptation of Yunnanese Mongolian culture and the adjustment of ethnic relations can provide evidence for the
harmonious development of ethnic groups.
